Highly targeted Child Edu & Care Japan 2025 welcomes over 3,600 visitors

Japan’s premier trade fair for childcare and education business and services, Child Edu & Care Japan 2025, wrapped up successfully on 21 November 2025. The two-day fair at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN attracted 214 exhibitors – the highest number to date, and 3,670 visitors. Spanning four floors, the exhibition featured seven zones – ICT (Information and Communication Technology), Inclusive Nurture, Learning Material, Toy and Play Equipment, Nursery Operations, Food Education, and Human Resources. The fair provided a comprehensive environment for buyers to compare a wide range of industry-centric products and services.

Highly targeted Child Edu & Care Japan 2024 concludes successfully after attracting 3,801 visitors

After two days of intense and fruitful business and information exchange, the Childcare & Education Business & Service Fair, also known as Child Edu & Care Japan 2024, concluded its sixth edition on 22 November. Taking place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN, the show drew 3,801 visitors, with over half comprising directors and staff from nurseries and childcare facilities. Featuring a record 202 exhibitors and an insightful fringe programme, many fairgoers praised it as a valuable platform for discovering innovative solutions and addressing on-site challenges.

Empowering futures: Child Edu & Care Japan welcomes record 182 exhibitors, and over 3,500 visionaries in education

Culminating in a resounding success on 22 November, the 2023 edition wrapped up with exhibitors establishing valuable new business connections with professionals from all corners of the childcare sector at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center HAMAMATSUCHO-KAN. In light of the increased demand for safety and security in the childcare industry, this year’s two-day event put a special focus on this topic. Notably, there has been a surge in efforts to prevent incidents such as inappropriate discipline or choking accidents involving children, with the introduction of products and services dedicated to ensuring the well-being of pre- schoolers. Dedicated seminars tailored for childcare professionals were also conducted to address these concerns.

Child Edu & Care Japan: visitor numbers grow 21% amid another exhibitor record

Showcasing the very best in early year services and preschool management, the 2022 edition of Child Edu & Care Japan successfully concluded on 22 November at Tokyo International Forum. The fair hosted 178 exhibitors (up 6%) and 3,735 professional visitors (up 21%) in a continuation of its consistent year-on-year growth trajectory.

Child Edu & Care Japan sets new records for visitor and exhibitor participation

The 2021 edition of Child Edu & Care Japan, the first and only professional trade fair for products and services related to childcare and education in Tokyo, successfully concluded on 2 December at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Centre Hamamatsucho Hall. The two-day fair attracted 3,052 professional visitors from related industries who came to sample and source the latest products and services from 168 companies.

The second edition of Child Edu & Care Japan was a great success, welcoming around 2,400 visitors in two days

Child Edu & Care Japan, the professional trade fair for products and services related to childcare and education in Japan, closed its doors on 27 November 2020 at the Shinjuku NS Building in Tokyo. The organiser, Messe Frankfurt Japan, worked closely with local authorities to implement precautionary measures and to provide a safe and effective business and communication platform for stakeholders from nursery schools and kindergartens as well as related product and service providers for the childcare industry in Japan.

Child Edu & Care Japan 2020 rescheduled to November over coronavirus concerns

In view of the escalating public health crisis, Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd has decided to postpone the 2nd edition of Child Edu & Care Japan, the trade fair for products and services related to childcare and education. The two-day fair, originally scheduled to take place from 4 – 5 June 2020 (Thu – Fri) at the Shinjuku NS Building in Tokyo, will move to 26 – 27 November 2020 (Thu – Fri) at the same venue.
